Don't Let Me Down

Confession time.

It's Monday. Not raining. Time to run and get moving, to get a good start on the week.

Only I'm not running this morning. I have an early meeting, and I can't fit my morning exercise in. Sigh. I'm so irritated about it. I would really rather be running.

But that's no reason for me not to persuade you to go.

It's Monday. Let's do this - and by let's, I mean you. Just think - you'll be one day fitter, one day stronger. And I'll have to push so hard to keep up.

The song this week is Don't Let Me Down by The Chainsmokers.

You can sing it at me as I dash out of the door - teetering in my heels, wishing they were my running shoes. I'll miss you. Promise. And tomorrow, I'll be back.

Crashing, hit a wall
Right now I need a miracle
Hurry up now, I need a miracle
Stranded, reaching out
I call your name but you're not around
I say your name but you're not around

I need ya, I need ya, I need you right now
Yeah, I need you right now
So don't let me, don't let me, don't let me down
I think I'm losing my mind now
It's in my head, darling, I hope
That you'll be here, when I need you the most
So don't let me, don't let me, don't let me down
D-don't let me down

Don't let me down
Don't let me down, down, down
Don't let me down, don't let me down, down, down

Running out of time
I really thought you were on my side
But now there's nobody by my side

Have a good one, and a great week.
