Ten of the Best #140

What an interesting week it's been. As seen on all your social media posts.

Did you all see the rain and flooding in Venice? Here's a BBC report and an entertaining video showing how in this particular restaurant, the show must go on.

In other news, James Delaney and Thulani Nkomo, who started the project to revive The Wilds in Jozi have been recognised for their work.

The stories told by Neanderthal teeth...I loved this one.

And that's when the music started. Seriously, you guys all started sharing the most delightful clips, and all had great music. Here's the first, a dance set to Ennio Morricone - Le Vent, Le Cri. The ballet dancer is Polina Semionova.

And then there was Claire Crosby's Disney mashup. So cute.

And these guys - Il Grande Piano. Amazing...

Just in time for the weekend, James Corden let Barbra give him a lift. They found some music on the radio...

And this may make you shed a tear. Marshmello ft Bastille - Happier...

Music makes everything better, right? This clip doesn't need it though -it's from Friends, when Joey  tries (doesn't really) to learn French.

And lastly, The New York Times did a little feature on one of my favourites - Anne Lamott, which was almost as delightful as the lady herself.

Time for one more? Only if it's more music. Ok then, here're Victor Borge & Kontra Monti playing Csárdás“ by Vittorio Monti. They make it look so easy.

Dare I say "Thank you for the Music" without making you sing that all day? But I am really grateful for your sharing it - music being one of "My Favourite Things".

Have a great weekend, everyone.

I loved the teeth and Wilds. I especially loved Barbra Streisand and James!
