Chicken and Bacon Paprika

Do you need an easy dish for supper? Here it is. Chicken and bacon paprika.

Whole chicken
3 tablespoons olive oil
Juice of one lemon
250ml water
2 onions, peeled and sliced
Butter - 1 tablespoon
10 rashers bacon, chopped
250ml white wine
4 tablespoons paprika
2 tablespoons tomato paste
sprinkle of sugar
500ml cream

Roast the chicken in an oven pan with 3 tablespoons olive oil, lemon juice and water for 90 minutes at 180 degrees. Cool and remove meat from bones.

Fry onions in oil and butter. Add bacon and fry till crispy. Add wine, cook for 5 minutes on high heat. Add paprika, tomato paste and sugar. Let it simmer. Add cream, and simmer gently.

Serve hot with spaghetti.

No time? Use chicken breast fillets (6-8) instead of whole chicken.
