“It is not enough to do good; one must do it in the right way” is one of my favourite quotes - by John Morley, a member of the house of Lords from the 1900s. He also said "Those who would treat politics and morality apart will never understand the one or the other.”
So moving swiftly from politics to morality, here's my favourite writer on why we are killing our children. Thank you Robyn. Sorry for the seriousness today, but this is devastating.

Ok, do you need a pick-me-up? Coming soon. Terri Caldwell and her husband opened a Theatre and a music school to help kids learn music. Through this, a performance group called The Cactus Cuties was formed. They performed at a basketball game in 2008. The girls’ ages ranged from eight to 13. I love it, but I'm a sucker for harmonies.
This is beautiful - a heartfelt letter from a mom who has adopted to the mom who gave her child up.
And then one of the adopted children teams up with Kyle Deutsch to sing this amazing song. Makes you think?
I don’t usually do online quizzes, but here’s a fun one - How many laws did you break today? Just by doing what you normally do, without thinking? Go on, you know you want to. Women only.
And we all need a little bit of The Bloggess, a.k.a. Jenny Lawson. Just to remind us that it's the crazy people who keep us all quite real, or at least, laughing. This needs a language and adult content warning. Here The Bloggess has a conversation with the long-enduring Victor about horny toads et al.
Did you see The Ostrich? I missed it. You too? here you go. If not, scroll down.
And lastly, well it's got to be Suzelle! For those of you who don't know what a "wet lappie" is - it's a damp cloth. Enjoy.
Link to last week.
